Otrhance ridge (2194m)
Western Tatras · Račkova valley
A rugged wild ridge in the Western Tatras that surprises with its beauty and challenge.
The Otrhance Ridge is a journey for those who want to experience the Western Tatras in their open, rugged and ever-changing form.
It is a day of climbing, descending, rocky terrain and constantly changing views. The ridge never really stays the same. One moment it opens into a wide panorama, the next you are moving between rocks, with every turn revealing the mountains from a different perspective.
Jakubina is the highest point of the journey, but the summit is only one part of the experience. The Otrhance Ridge is really about moving along the ridge, the space around you, and the way the landscape keeps changing with every step.
Depending on the conditions, time and energy, we can also choose a more demanding variant through Klin and let the ridge take us further into the mountains.
This is a journey where it is not only about where you arrive.
What you discover along the way matters just as much.
A more demanding variant through Klin (2176m), offering even more time, elevation and space in the open mountain landscape.
