Roháče ridge

A magical loop across the rocky ridge of Roháče, where the landscape changes with every step.

This is a day of open space, rock and constantly changing views. Here, the Western Tatras show their more rugged side a rugged ridge, steep slopes, mountain pine and rocky sections create terrain that demands attention while rewarding you with a new perspective around every turn.

As the ridge unfolds, wide views open across the surrounding valleys and peaks. The highest peak on the journey is Pachoľa (2167) and together with others give the day its rhythm, but the experience is not only about the summits themselves. It is about the space between them, the constant rhythm of climbing and descending, and the feeling that the landscape is always changing around you.

Some sections bring a more technical element, with rocky terrain and chains. Others become quieter, leaving you with nothing but the mountains and the open space around you.

A full mountain day for those who want to experience the Roháče in their fullest form. Through movement, effort, beauty and that feeling of being completely immersed in the ridge.
